Here’s the truth: photography is my side gig. My escape. My art.

It’s not what pays the bills, but it’s what makes me feel alive — and I’m not willing to let that go just to fill a calendar.

In 2026, I’m being more intentional about who I photograph. I want to work with families who want to play. Who don’t mind running through a field or collapsing into a pile of giggles. I want couples who tease, who flirt, who trip over each other mid-laugh.

If you show up in your favorite old flannel, an oversized sweater, or jeans that have seen better days — I already love you.

If you show up in a perfectly pressed shirt and spend the session worried about dirt, wrinkles, or “what do I do with my hands?” — I’m probably not your girl.

This isn’t about being selective — it’s about protecting the spark that made me fall in love with photography in the first place. I want every session to remind me why I started doing this.

And if you’re a current client reading this thinking, “that’s not really our vibe,” that’s totally okay. You deserve a photographer who matches what you want — and I need to keep creating in the way that feels right for me.

The best art, I think, comes from honesty — from chasing what feels right and letting go of what doesn’t. That’s the space I want to create from in 2026. The kind that makes you laugh, move, and remember why life is beautiful in the first place. If you’re ready to make those kinds of memories, I’d love to hear from you.
